My name is Leah, and early childhood education has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and began my career working as a preschool assistant, followed by experience in daycare and preschool settings. For the past two decades, I have had the joy of owning and operating Lil' Jumpin Frogs Preschool.
I truly cannot imagine doing anything else. I love the preschool years—the curiosity, the imagination, the questions, the energy, and all of the little moments that make this age so special. I continue to grow as an educator through ongoing trainings, professional development, and teacher certifications so I can provide the best experience possible for the children in my care.
My goal is to create a preschool where every child feels safe, secure, loved, and excited to come each day. I believe children learn best when they are given opportunities to play, explore, create, move, ask questions, and experience the world around them. Our days combine purposeful learning with plenty of time for play, helping children develop academically while also building confidence, independence, social skills, self-control, responsibility, kindness, and healthy habits.
At Lil Jumpin Frogs, I want children to feel comfortable being themselves while discovering what they can do. Whether we're learning in the classroom, playing outside, or exploring our community, my hope is that every child leaves feeling proud of what they've accomplished and excited to see what comes next.
Most importantly, I want Lil Jumpin Frogs to feel like a place where children are truly known and cared for. I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my days helping little learners grow, discover, and become confident, capable children.
